A brief visit…

This was the day we drove back from our week vacation on Grand Manan Island. Stopped at Ken Mitchell's house in Hudson to see his 1935 Pontiac cabriolet and got lots of pictures of it that will help with my car – especially the rumbleseat compartment and top well which are still original on this car. He's owned this thing for 40 years – as long as I've had the coupe – and has the fenders off now for some repair work. Here are some pictures.

This is an 8-cylinder car with the same Bedford Cloth interior as mine. That was a surprise. I thought all 8s were leather (his has vinyl seat covers).

Also stopped in Pittsfield after lunch, where India had made an appointement with Ken's wife Tuyot ("Tuit") to have some body work of here own done. In this case, manicure, pedicure, facial, etc. That gave me a few hours to putz around with the car.

We got the firewall ID tag mounted and I masked the bumpers so Ken could spray the black lines. I tried doing it by hand, but much better if done with the spray gun. Did a few other things as well while I was there.
